Take snapshot of current btcp chain at block 680000.

Realign to zcash current code with sapling transactions as default sheilded.

Testnet 1

Internal Testnet (currently running for quite some time, all tx types good, Sapling sheilded by default from block 1) - Success

Analyzing Chain Data

Analyzing snapshot data to remove previously burned coins as well as known illegitimate coins. (completed)

Testnet 2

Public testnet where modified UTXO set is forked into a new testnet chain.
(Initial testnet released for wallet testing, mining, and further transactional tests. Final release depends on results of testing.)

Polish

Fix issues and finalize code after testnet 2 completion, verify difficulty adjustment code and functionality and test fork utxo functionality.
