This component uses the version 5 specification of the communication protocol. If you inverter/collector is older and this comoonent does not work, try the following integration:
It has been tested with a 5kW DEYE/SUNSYNK inverter. The collector is reported to be used in Omnik, Hosola, Goodwe, Solax, Ginlong, Samil, Sofar and Power-One Solar inverters, you may get success from any of these as well.

## Energy Dashboard
The entities includes the device classes to enable it to be added to the [Energy Dashboard](https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2021/08/04/home-energy-management/) introduced with Home Assistant Core 2021.8.

# Solarman Component for Home Assistant.
This sensor component will retrieve data from solarman data collectors used with a variety of inverters. It will allow you to use the parameters in automations, graphs, and the new energy dashboard introduced with Home Assistant Core 2021.8.
