Q: what are the benefits of Hellen approach over "sandwich" approach?
A: sandwich is great for prototyping. Once you have made five test units and you know you have the market for another 10 units it looks like hellen is the way to go due to a) reduced labor requirments b) nicer product with access to all componenets
